Services Offered

Who Pays for What?

Services Funded by Maintenance Services Through the General Operating Budget:
Maintenance Services receives a budget allocation to operate and maintain the main building components of all General Fund Buildings.

Services Charged to Requesting Department:

Maintenance Services does not receive a budget allocation for many services and must charge to requesting department for those services. The following types of services are a partial list of those paid for by the requesting department:

• Installing special or dedicated department equipment
• Maintaining special or dedicated department equipment
• Furniture or work stations
• Appliances
• Office painting
• Carpeting replacement

Any vandalism and misuse of a building component will be the responsiblility of the identified individual or Department.

Any department that collects funds for an event will be charged for services requested for the event.

Building Services Offered By Others

There are many other needs from building customers that maintenance Services does not provide. The following is a list of common items called into our Service Center that we must refer to another campus office.
