Hours of Operation

Maintenance is available at all hours, every day of the year for Emergency services.

The Zone Maintenance Teams work first shift hours. Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Maintenance Services has preventative maintenance teams on second shift (Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm) and third shift (Sunday night - Thursday night 10:00pm - 6:30am). They will provide emergency service response to campus customers.

Requesting Services

1. Emergency maintenance needs should be requested to the Department of Public Safety weekdays after 5:00pm and on weekends by calling 7-5555. Week days from 7A.M to 5P.M you can call the Maintenance Office at 387-8514.

2. Regular Service requests should be funneled through the designated building coordinator when ever possible. We are encouraging everyone to use the Internet Request System. These requests will be prioritized and responded to as resources permit.

Internet requests can be made by using Bronco Fix-It. Accessing the Bronco Fix-It service page will also provide information on previously submitted service requests.

Apartments and Residence Halls have their own service request procedures. Users in Auxiliary divisions must call the office in their operating unit. You can learn more about Campus Housing and their facilities by reviewing their web site: www.wmich.edu/housing/.
