The TMA Work Order System is used to register and track all Work Orders: Including Fire Alarm or Suppression Related issues on Campus. The internet address to link up with this W.O. System is: http://www.pp.wmich.edu. Click on "Submit a Request" or "Query Request" just below the W.O. Heading. Query Request is used to check the status of a Work Order.
Through this system, any division of Campus can initiate a Work Order Request or check its status through the search W.O. # link when desired. Information entered into the Work Order System creates an entered date, a Building location/room #, a Requester/Contact person and phone number and a Priority number (1 through 4 with 1 being most urgent), and a brief description of the needs associated with the W.O. request. Then it gets designated and sent to the appropriate Shop Supervisor, Trade or Contractor. A separate Trade designation can also be specified: such as Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, or Fire Alarm related. Through Work Order tracking, Work Orders can be followed from start through to it's completion with a Start Date and Completion Date on the Work Order. Also, there is a Technicians Comments section where pertinent information can be added that was involved in the actual work order.
