Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Codes

For fire alarms, WMU abides by the National Fire Alarm Code, NFPA 72.

For sprinkler systems, WMU abides by NFPA 13 code: Installation of Sprinkler Systems. WMU uses only certified and licensed technicians for installations and maintenance. The State Fire Marshall inspects each new building fire alarm related system and makes sure that all devices are operational before they are opened for public use.
