Energy Management

WMU’s Energy Management program operates within the Maintenance Services division to deliver a reliably comfortable environment to the campus community of 151 buildings on 8.8 million square feet in the most cost effective manner.

With the rising cost of energy, we are consistently improving our methods and equipment through both proactive and reactive efforts. As an educational research institution, we have the responsibility to set an example for the community by incorporating sustainable practices whenever it is feasible. Ultimately, individual members of our campus community must incorporate sustainable habits into their daily lives.
