Western Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, Ferris State University, and North Central Michigan College have joined resources to host a conference that will be memorable. Grand Rapids is easy to get to by plane or car and is considered one of the most vibrant cities in America. The city’s bustling downtown entertainment district offers night clubs, theaters, sports, and dining options galore. Within walking distance and minutes of downtown are some of the finest museums, galleries, shopping, and a unique garden and sculpture park. We have secured unique golf (PGA host course) and fishing opportunities that exemplify why Michigan is rated one of the best outdoor recreation destinations. You will find the hotel and conference venue to be one of the best! The Amway Grand Plaza boasts the only 5 diamond restaurant in Michigan, rated one of the top ten hotels in America, and the largest gold leaf ceiling application in the United States. Your host committee negotiated an incredible $120 per night cost to make the trip very affordable. We have scheduled several social events throughout the conference to provide networking opportunities with your peers and business partners. The vendor exhibit area is in the same complex. The education committee identified great programs and speakers so everyone can take home new thoughts and ideas.
The dedicated staff of the host institutions and the members of the organizing committees welcome you to Grand Rapids for a special facility education experience and Networking on the Grand.
See you in October, 2007!
